Fergus was born with Layrngomalacia, a congenital softening of the tissues of the larynx, causing the laryngeal tissues to fall over the airway opening and partially block it.
He had an operation when he was 8 weeks old so he could breathe without oxygen.
Since then some other problems have popped up and Fergus had an operation to change from a Ng tube to Mickey Button in his tummy as he can’t swallow liquids safely.
He’s been through a lot and is quite often housebound due to a low immune system but he always manages to keep a smile on his little face - nothing seems to faze him!
He may be little, but he is mighty and strong, and has bravely faced anything he's been put up against!
